Conservation

THE CRITICALLY ENDANGERED
WHITE-WINGED FLUFFTAIL
Dullstroom is home to one of Africa’s rarest bird species. With an estimated 50 mature individuals, it is considered to be on the brink of extinction.
BirdLife South Africa is working with partners across public and private sectors to safeguard what little remains of the White-winged Flufftail’s wetland habitat and furthering research and conservation to ensure its survival for generations to come.
